Roger Bullivant Limited (RBL) geotechnical solutions at Edinburgh Gin Distillery & Visitors’ Centre has been shortlisted for the UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of up to £500k at the Ground Engineering Awards 2023.

The shortlist is recognition of Roger Bullivant’ s commitment to drive excellence within the ground engineering sector and demonstrates the company’s collaborative approach, working in partnership with clients, providing experience, expertise, and a desire to ensure success.

Gavin Hay, Scotland Area Manager said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Ground Engineering Awards.

It really is pleasing that the judges have selected RBL in such competitive awards and category. This project overcame difficult ground conditions within a restricted site for a landmark project in the heart of the ‘Old Town’ of Edinburgh. The shortlist showcases our approach to value engineering by combining our expertise and techniques from a very early stage in the development process. With only a few months to wait until the award ceremony, the excitement is already building amongst the team as so much of the design and planning was carried out by our dedicated in-house teams.”

The prestigious Ground Engineering Awards celebrates the best in geotechnical engineering and brings together the leaders in the industry to recognise its achievements.

The winners will be announced at the Ground Engineering Awards ceremony, which is held on the 12th July 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
