Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer at our precast concrete factory in Swadlincote.
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out preventative planned maintenance, repairs and breakdown responses. We are looking for someone mechanically and electrically qualified with medium/ heavy industrial experience.
You should be able to read and understand drawings, have the ability to operate a range of handheld power tools, have good IT literacy and communication skills, be able to work alone or within a team and have good fault finding and analytical skills.

- Technical Knowledge – Good electrical knowledge of motors, sensors and inverters & good mechanical knowledge including fitting, hydraulic systems and pneumatics.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret data, problem-solve, and apply engineering concepts effectively.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in reading and understanding Engineering drawings.
- Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication for technical reports and team collaboration.
- Teamwork & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- I.T Skills – Good I.T literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office.
- Health & Safety Awareness – Understanding of safety and risk management principles.
- Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive approach to identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
- Industrial Experience – Previous experience of medium/ heavy industrial environment
