Key Responsibilities:
As a Piling Operative, you will:
- Assist with the installation of piling systems, working closely with the Piling Foreperson and other team members.
- Safely operate associated plant equipment, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Manage and maintain materials on site, ensuring equipment and tools are in good working order.
- Follow site-specific method statements and risk assessments, adhering to the company’s strict Health & Safety policies.
- Assist with site deliveries, plant movements, and general site operations.
- Liaise with the site manager and wider project team to ensure smooth project progression.
- This is a nationwide role so the ideal candidate would need to travel to various sites across the UK and stay overnight as and when required.
Requirements:
- Experience in piling ideally within the CFA/Displacement techniques.
- Ability to operate plant and equipment or hold the following qualifications, Concrete Pump, Telehandler, Signal slinger , Rig attendant (training and certification will be provided if needed).
- A good understanding of Health & Safety practices on construction sites.
- Willingness to work away from home and travel between sites.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
