Your main purpose in the role is to manage and develop the piling business in the South West Area, through effective Sales Strategy, Marketing, building on relationships and identifying the possibility of new market opportunities. This role requires good communication skills, as you will implement and manage a departmental business strategy, conduct CPD talks as required, attend group meetings on behalf of the South West Region, including presenting estimates, customer care and technical support. You will ensure profit growth through effective tendering and management of work and maintain targets in conjunction with the commercial manager.
The candidate will manage departmental staff, by motivating them and allocating work. Essentially you should have previous experience in a similar role, within the piling industry and have a Civil Engineering Degree or be suitably qualified through experience. Due to the nature of the role, individuals will require a full driving licence and the flexibility and confidence to travel to off-site meetings as required.
