We are looking for an Assistant Contracts Engineer to ensure projects are managed and delivered on time and to budget. You will have day to day responsibility for managing the labour force and resolving any technical, operational and commercial issues of Mini Piling projects in the South East. You will assist in the preparation of estimates during tender phase and regularly attend site maintaining good working relationships with clients.
Essentially you should have previous experience in a similar role, within the piling industry. You will need good communication, organisation, leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to assess, weigh up risks and resolve problems on site and technically, in a calm, safe and effective manner, without compromising working standards.
We anticipate that interested parties will have a Civil Engineering Degree or be suitably qualified through experience. Due to the nature of the role, individuals will require a full driving licence and the flexibility and confidence to travel to off-site meetings as required.
