HGV Driver
Based from our Head Office in Derbyshire and joining a busy transport department, we are currently recruiting for a HGV Driver. You will be responsible for delivering plant and products throughout the UK whilst always complying with the DVSA and local Highways Agencies. You will also need to hold a category C+E licence and an up-to-date CPC licence.

- The safe loading and unloading of vehicles in addition to ensuring load security during transit.
- Journey planning to consider the safest and most efficient route with adherence to scheduled delivery times whilst considering risks along any prescribed route.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence and Driver Tachograph card to remain valid and downloaded periodically as required by the Company.
- Compliance with both EU Drivers Hours Rules and the Transport Working Time Directive.
- Prompt reporting of any road traffic incidents or safety concerns.
- Remaining current with key Road Traffic legislation and the Highway Code.
- Ensuring compliance with preventative maintenance systems and procedures.
- Immediate reporting of any DVSA roadside inspections.
