• Precast concrete ground beams are supplied in lengths to span between pad bases
• Ground beams are generally square or rectangular in section, however notches, sloping faces and end details such as dowelling or dovetail end notches can be supplied to order.
• Quickbeam ground beams, 300mm wide x 425mm deep, are designed to form a permanent shutter to the edge of an insitu concrete floor slab. As a standard size they are formed in steel moulds.
• Quickspan ground beams, 450mm wide x 425mm deep, are designed to support brick/ blockwork. As a standard size they are formed in steel moulds.
• Where non-standard beam sizes are required, moulds may require formation partially in timber. The amount of reinforcement introduced into the design will be used to suit specific loading requirements.
